Agreement

By creating an account or using Family Cart, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a household, you are responsible for inviting only people who should see that household’s list.

The service

Family Cart is a shared shopping list for one household. Members add items. An admin can see the family cart and send a shopping run to someone in the household. Family Cart does not sell groceries, does not deliver them, and does not take payment.

Accounts

You need an account to use the app. Use your name and an email address you can open. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. A household admin can add a person who has already registered, or share a one-time invite code.

If you are the only admin and other people are still in the household, make someone else an admin before you leave or delete your account. That keeps the household from being locked.

Acceptable use

• Use Family Cart for your own household.
• Do not try to enter another household without an invite.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything that harms someone.
• Do not misuse the service, probe it, or interfere with it.

Your content

You remain responsible for the text and photos you add. You give Smart Tech permission to store that material and show it inside your household so the app can work. We do not claim your shopping list as our own.

Availability

The service is provided as available. We may change, pause, or stop parts of it, including for maintenance or a new version. We do not promise that the app will always be reachable, or that a product in the catalogue is in stock at a shop.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Smart Tech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for a shop being out of stock, or for decisions your household makes from the list. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Ending use

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and when we can we will email the address on the account.

How to delete your account

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. The courts of Kuwait may hear a dispute, except where a mandatory consumer law where you live requires another forum.
